Harxon releases new GNSS + L-band antenna
Harxon, a high-precision GNSS antenna manufacturer in China, has released a new GNSS + L-band antenna.
The GPS1000 receives GPS L1/L2/L5, BDS B1/B2/B3, GLONASS L1/L2, Galileo E1/E2/E5a/E5b and L-band frequencies, which can be used in land survey, marine survey, channel survey, seismic monitoring, bridge survey, container operation and agriculture applications. Customers can use the same antenna for GPS only or dual-constellation applications.
It has high gain and wide beam width to ensure the signal receiving performance of satellite at low elevation angle. The phase center of this antenna remains constant as the azimuth and elevation angle of the satellites change. Signal reception is unaffected by the rotation of the antenna or satellite elevation, so placement and installation of the antenna can be completed with ease.
The GPS1000 is housed in a IP67 waterproof enclosure for permanent installation, and maintains good performance in a variety of harsh environments. Plus, it can be customized by Harxon for the best solution for customers. Orders can be placed at www.harxon.com.
Harxon releases mini base radio suitable for local data network

Harxon antenna aimed at marine positioning
Harxon has released a utility beacon antenna — HX-CS7615A — to professionally solve marine satellite positioning challenges.
The HX-CS7615A supports GPS L1/L2, GLONASS L1/L2 BDS B1/B2/B3 and beacon frequencies (282.6 to 326 KHz), which greatly overcomes the defects of long-distance transmission limits, the company said. In addition, combining wide frequencies in one antenna makes the new device more cost effective.
Inside, a multipath rejection board significantly eliminates measurement error, Harxon said. The phase center of the antenna remains constant as the azimuth and elevation angle of the satellites change.
The HX-CS7615A is designed with high gain and wide beam width. It is test approved — even in some severe blocking situations, its reception remains stable.
A specialized antenna made for rugged environments, the HX-CS7615A beacon antenna is sealed against water and dust, is salt and fog resistant, and operates in extreme weather conditions.
Harxon offers new waterproof helical GNSS antenna
Harxon has released its next-generation triple-frequency Helix Antenna HX-CH7603A, which has excellent performance and high efficiency in a compact form factor, the company said.
Harxon’s new-design helical antenna HX-CH7603A is capable of GPS L1/L2, GLONASS L1/L2 and BDS B1/B2/B3. Though compact, it provides high peak gain (more than 3.5 dBi) and wide beam width to ensure the signal receiving performance of satellite at low elevation angles.
HX-CH7603A is equipped with an O-ring and gold-plated SMA (sub-miniature version A) connector that makes the antenna waterproof-grade, reaching IP67 once installed on a mating surface. The antenna is designed for applications requiring minimal integration effort or for retrofitting existing products.

Harxon releases mini choke ring antenna
Harxon, manufacturer of high-precision antennas in China, has released a new patented mini choke ring antenna, the HX-CSX610A. Weighing less than 2 kg, the tiny antenna could be considered the next generation of reference antenna trends, Harxon said.
Harxon’s patent for the HX-CSX610A design includes its compact body, which offers flexible transportation and installation. Applications for the antenna include CORS stations, geodetic surveying and mapping, and other monitoring.
The HX-CSX610A is armed with excellent phase center symmetry and multipath suppression across all GNSS constellations, Harxon said, including GPS L1/L2/L5, GLONASS L1/L2, BDS B1/B2/B3, Galileo E1/E2/E5ab/E6 and L band.
For tracking performance, it can reach -0.5 dB at 20 degrees elevation.
An anti-jamming improvement over previous antenna is a method of combining the choke-ring structure with spatial filtering multipath signal suppression.
Hardware configurations meet IEC and GB standards. The antenna is water- and dust-proof.

The user programmable eRadio also supports the Bluetooth of APP to configure data and update radio status. Its diagnostic reporting software can realize the built-in reliability monitoring, such as internal temperature, environment status and battery level and channel inspection. According to the company, these features allow users to both anticipate and deal with potential issues efficiently.
In addition to compatibility with radio protocols by Trimble and Satel, eRadio is equipped with its unique ETALK communication protocol, which uses Harxon’s exclusive algorithms and advanced processors. Under the same conditions, ETALK protocol can significantly reduce the bit error rate of weak signals and the communication distance can be increased by 20 percent.
The compact, rugged eRadio is particularly well suited for heavy-duty outdoor use. It is designed for easy mobile use with an organic light-emitting diode display screen for demanding field conditions. The IP67 full metal cover provides dust and water resistance that keeps surveyors working with confidence and efficiency.
Harxon introduces 4-in-1 X-Survey antenna for RTK applications
Real-time kinematic (RTK) integration usually uses separate antennas, which can lead to reduced efficiency because of electro-magnetic interference (EMI).
Also, conventional antenna installation can result in unstable machine performance because of the problems of system compatibility between different antennas.
Harxon has overcome those difficulties with its integrated X-Survey antenna, a 4-in-1 OEM antenna for both navigation and communication in surveying applications.
It provides standard Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G, plus multiple constellation signal reception for GNSS positioning.
The high-gain and wide-beamwidth GNSS antenna features a multi-point feeding technology, ensuring a high phase-center stability and positioning accuracy. Moreover, the array-arranged 4G antennas enables more stable signals and longer communication distance at 360-degree direction, increasing the overall machine efficiency over conventional antennas.
The X-Survey antenna provides high isolation among each antenna to prevent self-interference, improving RTK system compatibility. RF coaxial connectors are designed for plug-and-use, keeping high efficiency and lowering the impact of EMI.
The antenna low-noise amplifier (LNA) features excellent out-of-band rejection performance, which can also suppress the EMI, providing reliable GNSS signals.
The unique structure design simplifies RTK integration, and minimizes the overall machine dimension. Harxon aims to bring system integrators high-efficiency performance of navigation and communication in surveying and precision agriculture applications.

Harxon brings latest surveying technologies to Intergeo
Harxon is showcasing high-precision positioning GNSS antennas and its latest wireless data transmission technologies for surveying applications at Intergeo, Oct. 16-18, in Frankfurt, Germany.
X-Survey is an 4-in-1 OEM antenna for both navigation and communication in the real-time kinematic (RTK) surveying applications. It provides standard Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G, and multiple-constellation signal reception for GNSS positioning.
Its 3D design ensures a higher phase center stability and longer communication distance at a 360-degree direction, while lowering the impact of electromagnetic interference (EMI), hence increasing the overall machine efficiency and simplifying the RTK integration, the company said.
The smart eRadio is a long-range and highly efficient radio modem designed to support RTK applications in surveying and precision agriculture. It can automatically identify RTK serial baud rate and provide a plug-and-play form for easy connection between eRadio and RTK.
According to Harxon, the eRadio’s diagnostic reporting software can configure data and update radio status, allowing users to effectively deal with potential issues. In addition, it is equipped with the unique ETALK communication protocol that increases the communication distance by 20 percent.
Other Harxon GNSS products showcased at Intergeo are for UAVs and precision agriculture, as well as surveying.
